Terms and Conditions of Sale
These are our trading terms and you agree to them when you purchase from our website, it is worth taking a few moments to read through them because they explain how we will deal with your order. We keep them as brief as possible.
We want you to be happy with your purchase, so we give you seven working days from delivery to decide whether, or not, to keep the goods. If, within this time, you decide not to keep an item, simply email us to let us know, then return the unwanted goods to us in good condition and we will give you a full refund (Excluding a £10 charge for original delivery) within 30 days. If you find returning the goods difficult we will arrange for the goods to be collected but the costs we incur in doing this will be deducted from your refund a typical charge for this is £30.
When we Process your Credit or Debit Card
When you purchase from us we wait until we are ready to dispatch your goods before we will process your credit or debit card.
Value Added Tax and Foreign Taxes
The prices shown on our website are inclusive of Value Added Tax which is charged at the current rate. You will receive a VAT invoice with your goods. If you are outside of the EEC you will not be charged Value Added Tax but you may still be required to pay local taxes or duties, we are not responsible for these.
The prices shown on the website include all carriage charges for UK mainland customers. If your delivery destination is beyond the UK mainland we will email you with the estimated delivery cost and you can then tell us if you wish to proceed with the order on that basis.
Orders received before midday are usually dispatched the same day by a 24 hour courier, if we are out of stock of an item we will email you and let you know when we expect to be able to make delivery. If the delivery time is unacceptable you are free to re-select or cancel your order.
VERY IMPORTANT – Please check your goods on arrival, if you are unable to do this sign for the goods as “Unexamined”. The driver will normally require a signature, if you leave a signed note you do so entirely at your own risk as to the state of the product. The Artificial Plant Shop and the courier companies can take no responsibility for goods that are not checked on time of delivery.
If your goods arrive damaged please refuse delivery. If you simply sign for the delivery, the carriers deem that YOU have accepted the goods have been delivered in good condition.
Please do not interfere with the operation of our website or attempt to make a fraudulent transaction. If you do we will be quite upset and may report your attempted hack or fraud to the authorities and may also seek to recover damages from you.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions
The Artificial Plants Shop reserves the right to change the terms of this agreement at any time by, posting a revised page on our website. The terms of our contract with you will be based upon those terms and conditions current at the time you placed your order. (We have set this page so that it prints out nicely on most printers so why not print yourself a copy).
The Artificial Plants Shop is a company based in England. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England. All disputes arising out of your access to this website or any transactions resulting from such use, including (without limitation) all contractual and other relationships are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
